Twenty-nine bright and eager Infant 2 students from Belize Elementary School had the remarkable opportunity to tour City Hall, engage with our council members. This immersive experience provided them with invaluable insight into the inner workings of local government, allowing them to explore the various departments within the Council, understand the responsibilities of our city leaders, and learn about the initiatives driving community development.
From stepping into the lobby of City Hall to gaining firsthand knowledge of the decision-making processes that shape Belize City, these young minds witnessed how leadership and governance converge to foster positive change.
During this visit, the students also took the opportunity to hand over letters of gratitude to Mayor Wagner and the Council team as a heartfelt gesture that underscored their appreciation for the dedication and hard work invested in improving their city.
Thank you to Belize Elementary School for reaching out and expressing such enthusiasm and keen interest in the work we do at the Council. We were honored to share our vision with these future leaders and hope the visit offered a meaningful and inspiring learning experience.
