This past week, we had the pleasure of hosting GIS Officer, Mr. Shamir Jacobs, from the Belmopan City Council as part of a municipal knowledge-sharing initiative!
During his three-day visit, Mr. Jacobs engaged with our GIS Specialist, Mr. Vasni Pech, gaining valuable insights into how we currently utilize and plan to expand GIS technology to enhance city management, service delivery, and urban planning. He also observed best practices and explored how GIS is streamlining operations to improve public service efficiency.
This collaboration is a significant step toward advancing municipal innovation and efficiency. By sharing expertise and strengthening inter-city partnerships, we are laying the foundation for smarter, more sustainable communities.
