As part of Belize City Council ongoing commitment to enhancing safety and preparedness within the downtown business community, CEMO's Economic and Recovery Sub-Committee organized a comprehensive Disaster Preparedness Review for local businesses. This initiative focused on developing and implementing effective strategies to strengthen disaster readiness, ensuring the resilience and protection of the downtown area. The session, led by NEMO Training Officer, Ms. Renice Gillett, provided invaluable insights and practical tools for improving our collective preparedness. We sincerely thank all those who participated, demonstrating their dedication to safeguarding our community. Your commitment to enhancing safety and resilience makes all the difference in ensuring a stronger, more prepared downtown for all. This meeting marks the first of many to come, and we encourage all businesses to join future sessions. Together, we can continue to build a safer, more resilient downtown.
