Today marks a historic moment as our newly re-elected Mayor Bernard Wagner and his team of Councillors took the official oath of office to serve the residents of Belize City for the term 2024-2027. 

Mayor Wagner's re-election makes him the very first person to serve three-consecutive terms as Mayor of Belize City, a testament to the trust and confidence placed in him by our residents.

Like you, our Belize City Council team is confident that Mayor Wagner and our re-elected and newly-elected Councillors will continue to serve with dedication and passion, just as they have for the past 6 years. 

We have so much planned for this new term and eagerly look forward to continuing our work of serving you all with professionalism, integrity and effectiveness.
