📚🚌 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲!

As part of Child Stimulation Month, Mayor Bernard Wagner was invited to Belize Elementary School to share a special reading with preschoolers from the story “Emery Paul and The Green Bus,” written by Amber Lopez. The book tells the fun story of a little boy whose favorite thing is riding Belize City’s electric bus — the “Green Bus.”

The morning was filled with smiles, imagination, and excitement as students listened to the story and then got the chance to see the eRide electric bus up close.

To make the day even sweeter, the Mayor brought along eRide pencils and cupcakes for the preschoolers — small treats to celebrate learning and the joy of reading.

It is truly inspiring to see this transformational initiative reaching the younger generation, introducing them to sustainable transportation while creating meaningful learning experiences for our children.

A special thank you to the teachers, parents, and staff of Belize Elementary School for warmly welcoming the Green Bus into their classroom.
