As part of Child Stimulation Month, Mayor Bernard Wagner was invited to Belize Elementary School to share a special reading with preschoolers from the story โEmery Paul and The Green Bus,โ written by Amber Lopez. The book tells the fun story of a little boy whose favorite thing is riding Belize Cityโs electric bus โ the โGreen Bus.โ
The morning was filled with smiles, imagination, and excitement as students listened to the story and then got the chance to see the eRide electric bus up close.
To make the day even sweeter, the Mayor brought along eRide pencils and cupcakes for the preschoolers โ small treats to celebrate learning and the joy of reading.
It is truly inspiring to see this transformational initiative reaching the younger generation, introducing them to sustainable transportation while creating meaningful learning experiences for our children.
A special thank you to the teachers, parents, and staff of Belize Elementary School for warmly welcoming the Green Bus into their classroom.
