The Director of Financial Services
The Director of Financial Services is responsible for all revenue generating departments and the Accounting Department within the council. These departments include:-
Revenue Department Valuation Department
Traffic Department Sanitation Department
Planning Department Accounting Department
Municipal Court
The Director of Financial Services is tasked with ensuring that these departments are operating in an efficient manner in order to maximize the collection of revenue generated by them. The DFS is also tasked with the development of new revenue streams and the overall financial management of the council.
The position of Director of Financial Services is currently held by Mr. Zane Castillo. He reports to the City Administrator, Dr. Kiran Vanjani.
The Accounting Department
The Accounting Department is headed by the Accountant, Mr. Anthony Castillo. This department has a staff complement of 10 committed employees. The Accounting Department works diligently to ensure that payments are processed accurately and proper records are maintained.
The department strives to ensure that all staff becomes familiar with the rules and regulations governing their duties and responsibilities with a view to drastically improve in its efficiency.
